Bridgnorth Golf Club
The golf course is a picturesque, 18 hole predominantly parkland golf course. All 18 greens have recently been completely re-laid to USGA specifications. It is a delight to play, covering varying types of terrain. Some holes are on dry springy turf, some on generally free draining land overlooking the Severn flood plain, while the holes alongside the River Severn are on fertile, silt generated meadowland. Worfield Golf Club
The championship length golf course is 18 holes, par 73 and is 6660 yards long (white tees) and 6419 yards long (yellow tees). The ladies course, off the red tees, is 5,666 yards long. Railways

Bridgnorth Cliff Railway
The railway was opened on 7 July 1892 by Mayor William Burton. The railway links the High Town and Low Town areas of Bridgnorth and is one one of the steepest railways in the country. The track length is 201 ft, with a gradient of 1 in 1.8 and a rise of 111 ft at an angle of 33 degrees. Visit Website

Severn Valley Railway
The Severn Valley Railway runs a 16 mile route from Bridgnorth to kidderminster following the course of the River Severn for much of its route. Trains services are both steam and diesel locomotives. On a Saturday Evening Fish and Chip Special runs from May to August, leaving Kidderminster at around 7pm and returning at 10pm after one hour in Bridgnorth. Visit Website

Town Halls

Bridgnorth Town Hall
Bridgnorth Town Hall is a black and white building erected in 1650. Half timbered, full of historical infomation and where refreshments are available. A market is operated from beneath the Town Hall on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Dudmaston Hall
Home of Labouchere family it is now a National Trust House, Parklands & Gardens. The house contains extensive and varied art collections, botanical art and costumes. Visit Website

Daniels Mill
Daniels Mill is a fully working impressive watermill which has been carefully restored to it former glory powering a corn mill. The watermill is virtually unaltered since the 18th Century and still in the ownership of the same family for over 250 years. Visit Website
